2026 Winter Specifications

Driveway Snow Blow 1.5"                 Per Season
Trigger Depth
Defined as a specific amount of snow accumulation from a single snowfall that activates the Snow 
Services for a particular snow event. If the new snow accumulation meets or exceeds the trigger 
depth, the Snow Services will take place for that snow event. If the new snow accumulation does not 
meet or exceed the trigger depth, snow removal may still be requested by the Customer, however it 
will be charged at Green & Black's hourly rates. Snow will be measured on site on a paved surface 
free of drifting.


Open Up

For snowfalls exceeding five inches, a plow pass will be made to the drive lanes to allow 
reasonable access to and from building entrances and exits. The Open Up pass will be made prior to 
6:30 AM or 5:00 PM


Full Plowing

For snowfalls exceeding ‘trigger depth’, full width plowing of snow from drives, driveways and 
parking areas as well as in front of mailboxes will be started within 8 hours after cessation of 
snow fall. For snowfalls greater than 8 inches, the deadlines will be extended to 12 hours 
following complete cessation of snowfall.


Snow services not included in the contract

Snow remaining after the cleanup due to parked cars and other obstructions not moved while crews 
are there. Efforts will be made to come back for cleanup plows but will be at the contractors 
discretion and timeline.


Ice accumulations on drives, steps, walks and garage aprons caused by drainage.
The cost of de-icer materials and activities other than that which is defined in this Agreement. 
Removal of snow piles in walkways or driveways created by removal of snow from patios, decks and 
roofs (to the extent that Contractor does not have the obligation to remove show from the patios 
and decks).


Snow dispersion and/or removal of snow from the Property.


Unintentional damage to any and all objects protruding from paved surfaces and lawn areas. 


Reasonable scratching or scuffing of seal coated roads or driveways from plowing operations.


Street Plowing 1.5"                     Per Season

Sidewalk Shoveling 1.5"                  Per Season

Sidewalks shoveled.

Fire Hydrant Clearing                    Per Season
Fire Hydrants are monitor throughout the season and cleared when the snow reaches the outlet cap. 
This is generally this is performed a few times throughout the year.

Mail Box Clearing                      Per Season

Initial mailbox shoveling will be completed during primary property shoveling. Follow-up shoveling, 
to widen and clear excess snow, will be complete post storm to account for city plows.
